Feng Shui Tips For Finding A Better Job

Executive Chef Jobs are not an easy job to find around here – unlike in Asia where we have a hospitality school – just meant to train people who wants to be chefs or front desk managers – and we have jobs already lined up for them even before they graduate.  So when a friend from here asked if there was some feng shui he can use to find a better job – that set me thinking too.

Feng shui can be used to enhance your search effort but do not think that by moving some furniture or clearing some clutter and not physically looking for jobs can help you find a job.  So besides using feng shui you have to do stuff like sending out resumes and job hunting seriously.

Finding the right job is as important as finding a job that pays well.  If you get a job that you don’t like – but pays a lot – that means you will be looking for another job soon.  So to find the right job – you can try a very simple thing – using images/pictures of people who are successful in their career or people who inspires you in the north area of your Bagua.  The north area is said to be connected to the flow energy of your career life also known as Path in Life.

Feng Shui For A Healthy Environment

My in-law’s old aunt is having a  new back surgery in about a month’s time – and they had asked if I can help look at the feng shui of her place – since she lives alone with a day nurse who will come help her in the day time after her back surgery.   I figured what the in-laws are saying is they want her to recuperate in a healthy environment and for her the heal fast.   So I went in to take a look at the house – hoping to help – of course as you all know I’m no expert in feng shui – I just practice it – and trying to make my world and life a better one each day.  So I had to read up a bit more on the back surgery and see what she will be like after and before the surgery – and then I can work a little better to make a better feng shui for her and her home.

Feng Shui For Retirement Home

My spouse’s grandfather just turned 100 years old during the weekend – we had a small celebration in the new retirement home he moved into.  While we were there, he was asking me to look around to see if I can feng shui his retirement home so that everyone will be healthy as long as possible and he wasn’t even joking about it too.  I did look around and saw a lot of trees and plants around the retirement home and lots of two step stools too.  I asked the caretaker there and she told me they were for the residents as they like to do their own things on their own and having the two step stools helps them to get things they need from the upper cupboards around the retirement home on their own without worrying about falling down.  I can see why they like to buy the ones with handle because it helps steady the older folks in the retirement home.

So I reported back to my spouse’s grandfather that he was in a good place – after all they do take care of their every need and even bought step stools to fit the residents and not the other way around.  I’m really happy for the spouse’s grandfather – he is going to be happy in that home.

Feng Shui For Office Opening

I was invited to a grand opening of an office of a friend – he just got into the import and export business  – and like anyone who practices feng shui – I had to look around to see if they had good feng shui to sustain the business for a long time – and will he succeed.   His wife who is the purchasing manager uses shoplet coupons for all the office stationary they need – and it was she who had taken care of all other office supplies as well – from coffee maker – to the toilet cleaner that they needed in the office.  And she definitely didn’t spare any change for giving the best office environment to the employees as well – they even had a great kitchenette in the office – in case they need to work late.

I loved that they had a great seating area for guests – and in the sitting area – there was a fish tank with some live fishes in it – the water was cleaned and the fishes looked very healthy.    The wife’s office was simple – and unobstructed  – great for thinking and doing lots of work.  Overall, the feng shui looks great – but I’m no expert  – but it felt good in their office.

We are very lucky – we don’t have tornadoes in our town – but a friend who recently lost her home to a tornado – lost just about everything except for the shirt on their back.  It’s hard to live in a place where tornado can strike anytime – so she wrote and asked me how she can feng shui her environment now she is ready to rebuild her home.

First of all – I told her nothing is more important than the lives of her family – and now that she knows that she may have another tornado in the future – a storm shelter is a must before any feng shui can come in.  Of course, it would be wise to get a professional to come help you with the storm shelter and advise her on what needs to be in the storm shelter should it happen again.  Once a storm shelter is intact – then we can look at feng shuiing her environment.  I think nothing is a better investment than investing on the lives of your family.  Things can be bought again – but lives and health – no way.

Basement For A Study Room

My neighbor was just telling me – that after a visit to her son’s college – she was a bit worried that the study room for her son’s class was in the basement of a building.  She asked me if it was even conducive for them to study in the basement whereby there is no sunlight nor fresh air in it.  She worries that it might affect his studies because of the environment he was in.   She also worries that with so many students placed in such closed proximity – he might not be able to concentrate.

Well, that’s easy – I told her – because she could get him some bluetooth stereo headphones and he can use it – to listen to the music he likes and that should help him to block out the noises he doesn’t want.  Plus these days – kids don’t mind the noise around them like we used to – they are of a different generation.  And many studies in college are placed in the basement because classes are bigger now and finding a place to place all students can be a bit challenging and even though they are in the basement – it doesn’t mean that the feng shui is bad.  A neat study like the one above is as conducive as one can get in a college around here – so there isn’t very much to worry about – plus if they are placed in the basement – I’m sure air – exchangers are being used and air cleaners are in place as well as filters – as for sunlight – bright lights above the computer like the ones in the pictures acts as sunlight and are just as good

Organizing Your Office The Feng Shui Way

So my dear friend who owns a store wants to organize her office so that it will bring her more business – and asked for some suggestions.  I went to her shop and office to look around today and realised that she needs more than feng shui – because there were so many paper work lying around the office and store.  But it’s the same at our store and it seems like the men doesn’t like organizing the paperwork – so I recommended document imaging to my long time friend to see if it would work better for her shop and spouse.

With document imaging, her spouse don’t have to worry if he can find an invoice or a fax from a customer or supplier because everything will be in the computer.  By doing that, the mess will be eliminated and that itself is already good feng shui – tidying up the mess and giving the office and shop a new life.  But of course, if she decides on another alternative – she can use that too.  But mostly I think it’s the paperwork of all the things that is going on the store that is causing some stagnant air around her business.  So yes!  if you are like my girlfriend – I strongly recommend a way to keep all these paperwork in order first and then the rest will fall into place.

Feng Shui For An Important Event

Now don’t laugh now – it’s true people seek lucky auspicious invitation cards for the success of an important event or function and celebration party.  Why do you think people hire professionals to print out campaign invitation cards or a conference event.  I know my spouse received some Baseball Invitations at the office from an important client’s campaign speech to get him elected for a baseball manager or spokesperson not too long ago.  So yes – when sending out invitation cards for an event – some people also look at the feng shui aspect of it and making sure that the color and graphics are appropriate for a good and successful event.  So if you do get a special invitation the next time – think about how the invitation is designed and the color and then compare it with the usual invitation cards you have and see for yourself how good invitation cards can impact an event even if it was just a birthday party.

Taking Charge Of Your Health

Yes!  if you want to be healthy !  take charge of your health – like my outlaw – who was diagnosed with thyroid and is now taking medication and treatment for it.  So when my friend asked me about feng shui for her current health condition because she is suspected to have thyroids too – I told her to check out the hypothyroid treatment austin located in Austin of course – since she is in that area – and then we can talk about feng shui.

Healthy living begins with treatment for your illness and not feng shui.  Feng shui isn’t magic – and moving some things around or sleeping in a different direction will not help treat your thyroid  but a proper treatment center can help you.  So if you have a health issue, please don’t rely on feng shui alone – you really have to see a specialist.

Feng Shui For Money Problems

When we first started the business – the spouse’s, no one wanted to give us a line of credit – not even a small loan.  And if you have a small business and just starting out – you know will know that not many supplier/s would give you a credit line too – but can you blame them – after all, you may be a fly by night company.  So when a friend told me about money problems with his estore – I can fully understand it – because cash flow is slow in the beginning.   But unlike us – we didn’t have the option of a car title loans Oregon like my friend did, lucky for him he got a loan against his car title without a credit check – to help him tide over his situation.

So he wrote and asked me how feng shui can help him with his money flow problems.  In which I told him about the remedies that I’ve found worked for us in the past – but also commended on his right decision to use the car title loans instead of getting a high interest loan.  That is why I told the spouse that we must buy a house and car and assets that we can use as collateral in the future instead of begging for money from the bank.  The bank wasn’t as kind to us then – but now that we owned a house – they called us for a follow up on a building we were looking to buy – now had we not owned a house already – and had no collateral – they wouldn’t have been so earnest to help us out.   So my friend was definitely a lot luckier than us – we had to pay so much interest and we are never going back to that again.
