I’ve read recently how music can balanced your living when you are using feng shui around your home.  And I have to tell you that music with my yamaha p90 certainly calms me down a lot at the end of the day or if I am stressed out.  I find the classical music works better for me than heavy and hard rock that my spouse like.  Whenever the spouse turns on his hard rock and heavy metal instead of having a calming feeling, I feel all agitated.  Of course, I didn’t say that to him for he loves that kind of music. The funny thing is when I wanted a portable piano he was all for it, in fact before my kid came along he too took some interest in learning classical music.   So if your home is chaotic or also full of problems - trying using classical music or take up some piano lessons to calm yourself and your surroundings.  It worked for me - and i feel strongly about new age and classical music.

So you want to make a dragon baby I heard - and want to feng shui your bedroom so that it will be a romantic space for you and the spouse to create good atmosphere for a dragon baby?  is there really such a thing as feng shui you bedroom to make a smart and healthy dragon baby?

Yes, one can use feng shui to make your bedroom a more romantic place for you to make babies.   First to start off with cleaning and clearing the clutter in your bedroom.  And then the color of your bedroom is very important too  - yes, some say even right up to the  switch covers in your room.   I prefer to use switch covers that are not white in color - I liked the pastel color ones or the gold colored ones.  Besides the switch covers in your bedroom - you should also remove all electronic things like your computer and tv away from the bedroom - that way both of you are not distracted by electronic things and can enjoy each other.

Decorations for your bedroom should always be in pair - and if you can - not only the switch covers should be pastel - so should your room.  So if you can paint your room a romantic or warm color - that would definitely ignite any relationship that needs a little fire.

Lastly, do not place any water in your bedroom.

Winter has been really mild - not much snow except for really cold wind - so the girlfriends and I are trying to decide if we should do our road trip earlier this year.  Every year, we try to head up to New York to visit a close college friend of ours.   The girlfriend just bought a 2nd hand trailer as you can see on the above picture and gotten her 5th wheel warranty - so she asked me to feng shui the 5th wheel - so that we will have a safe and awesome trip.

But we had already done the cleansing of the trailer when she bought it and put in some new curtains and washed it down with sea salt water and since she already has the warranty and road safety check - I think we are all set for our road trip.  I hope the weather keeps up and we will not have any trouble driving long haul.

I have a group of friend who loved anything feng shui just like myself - so when I told the spouse that I wanted to shop for some Christmas presents for them - the spouse suggested that I buy some feng shui stuff for them - hhaha!!  well, I know they loved feng shui stuff but it isn’t always necessary to only stick to one thing right?  it can get quite boring.  So this Christmas - I decided to check out some Fedoras Hats for my feng shui buddies because I know one of them loved it too - and I know they won’t be expecting it.  I loved the hats myself - so I might just get one for myself this Christmas.  My grandfather used to have hats like that and I really wished he would have left it for me when he passed away - I would have loved to have his collections.  Unfortunately, it didn’t end up with me - and I don’t know which of my relatives have them - i would have treasured them - these hats are vintage.

I would love to buy one of this trees to be put at home.  It is said that the Honey Calcite tree is used to enhance psychic abilities and thus help you to have a high consciousness, it is said to enhance intellect and memory  - great for someone like myself - who is an owner by association to the spouse’s business.

Aside from that - it is said that it’s beneficial for one’s health especially the kidney, bladder and the female organs plus menopause.  Used by massage therapist as massage stones for the longest time and also great for children with bed wetting problems.  The gold wire on the trunk of the tree symbolizes wealth and prosperity.   So now you can understand why I want one of this Honey Calcite tree right.

My spouse’s grandfather just turned 100 years old during the weekend - we had a small celebration in the new retirement home he moved into.  While we were there, he was asking me to look around to see if I can feng shui his retirement home so that everyone will be healthy as long as possible and he wasn’t even joking about it too.  I did look around and saw a lot of trees and plants around the retirement home and lots of two step stools too.  I asked the caretaker there and she told me they were for the residents as they like to do their own things on their own and having the two step stools helps them to get things they need from the upper cupboards around the retirement home on their own without worrying about falling down.  I can see why they like to buy the ones with handle because it helps steady the older folks in the retirement home.

So I reported back to my spouse’s grandfather that he was in a good place - after all they do take care of their every need and even bought step stools to fit the residents and not the other way around.  I’m really happy for the spouse’s grandfather - he is going to be happy in that home.

I was invited to a grand opening of an office of a friend - he just got into the import and export business  - and like anyone who practices feng shui - I had to look around to see if they had good feng shui to sustain the business for a long time - and will he succeed.   His wife who is the purchasing manager uses shoplet coupons for all the office stationary they need - and it was she who had taken care of all other office supplies as well - from coffee maker - to the toilet cleaner that they needed in the office.  And she definitely didn’t spare any change for giving the best office environment to the employees as well - they even had a great kitchenette in the office - in case they need to work late.

I loved that they had a great seating area for guests - and in the sitting area - there was a fish tank with some live fishes in it - the water was cleaned and the fishes looked very healthy.    The wife’s office was simple - and unobstructed  - great for thinking and doing lots of work.  Overall, the feng shui looks great - but I’m no expert  - but it felt good in their office.

My neighbor was just telling me - that after a visit to her son’s college - she was a bit worried that the study room for her son’s class was in the basement of a building.  She asked me if it was even conducive for them to study in the basement whereby there is no sunlight nor fresh air in it.  She worries that it might affect his studies because of the environment he was in.   She also worries that with so many students placed in such closed proximity - he might not be able to concentrate.

Well, that’s easy - I told her - because she could get him some bluetooth stereo headphones and he can use it - to listen to the music he likes and that should help him to block out the noises he doesn’t want.  Plus these days - kids don’t mind the noise around them like we used to - they are of a different generation.  And many studies in college are placed in the basement because classes are bigger now and finding a place to place all students can be a bit challenging and even though they are in the basement - it doesn’t mean that the feng shui is bad.  A neat study like the one above is as conducive as one can get in a college around here - so there isn’t very much to worry about - plus if they are placed in the basement - I’m sure air - exchangers are being used and air cleaners are in place as well as filters - as for sunlight - bright lights above the computer like the ones in the pictures acts as sunlight and are just as good

Now don’t laugh now - it’s true people seek lucky auspicious invitation cards for the success of an important event or function and celebration party.  Why do you think people hire professionals to print out campaign invitation cards or a conference event.  I know my spouse received some Baseball Invitations at the office from an important client’s campaign speech to get him elected for a baseball manager or spokesperson not too long ago.  So yes - when sending out invitation cards for an event - some people also look at the feng shui aspect of it and making sure that the color and graphics are appropriate for a good and successful event.  So if you do get a special invitation the next time - think about how the invitation is designed and the color and then compare it with the usual invitation cards you have and see for yourself how good invitation cards can impact an event even if it was just a birthday party.

Our basement is almost done - just a bit of touch up and we can finally get our family room down into the basement - of course, we also need walls for the laundry room.  The spouse wants to put in  home theater system speakers for the basement and asked me where he should put it - because he doesn’t wanna disturb my “feng shui” .  You see although he doesn’t believe in it thoroughly - he knows that I do - so he doesn’t want to upset me too much.   Anyhow, so the question asked is will having a home theater system speakers affect one’s feng shui - seriously, I don’t think so - so I told the spouse to go ahead and blast the basement all he wants - after all it is his basement right and he should be able to do what he wants with it.
