Someone asked me how they can improve their small room for better feng shui? You see they used their room as a bedroom as well as an office in the daytime. So it feels kinda cluttered and cramped – and at times – they feel a lot of stress – thus making it hard on the couple.
So my advice to them – is to de-clutter first of all – do not have your computer or any office equipment such as the computer or Velo Bind facing the bed – when you are sleeping. Open the windows during the day time to allow the good “chi” to come into the bedroom. Once the energy starts to move you will feel a great difference and don’t forget to keep your room clean and tidy. And if you really want a real change – give your room another coat of new painting.

According to the Tung Shu, the Chinese Almanac, there are seven mountains on the inner palm of the hand which reveal the inner attributes and determination levels of each person. The contours of these mountains tell us much about a person’s character and personality and they are named after the seven planets that correspond to the planets of the Great Bear. Whether the mountains bring luck or not depends on how “fleshy” and prominent they are on the palm. When they are full and obvious to the eye, they always indicate good fortune. When all seven mountains are full and prominent, this indicates a fleshy hand which is always indicative of a good and long life.
My friends and family knows that I practice Feng Shui and believes in it – so when it comes to shopping for me for Christmas and even for xmas stocking stuffer – they have to make sure that they buy the right things for me. Certain things that is bad “chi” i rather not have them – but most things are fine. My mother-in-law who is a Canadian – also knows I am fussy when it comes to Christmas shoppng and what I want or what I need for Christmas – so they usually asked me in advance – what is good for the house and my kids – before buying for them.
As for me – I’m pretty organized – so when it comes to Christmas shopping i usually buy the big stuff first and then the stocking stuffer later. Stocking stuffer can be a lot of things and if you need ideas – you can always buy cashmere gloves and scarves – cuff links for the men are always a welcome thing – and tie too. What do you give for stocking stuffer? For me – I usually choose something essential – like socks or photo frames. Happy shopping everyone! start early too!

10.10.10 – yes! that’s the day today. And according to the news – everyone wants to get married on this date – but is it really a good or bad day – to be married on this date? so i was asked. According to feng shui experts around the world – they don’t really think so. People will throw tantrums and there is sure to be a lot of aggression today. Hence, it’s very likely that this day could spark off unnecessary arguments among family, friends and even strangers. Good luck to all – i hope you get thru’ this day ok.
Besides having a bowl of fruit in the dining room/table – and with mirror in the dining room to reflect double the abundance – one must not forget to clean the kitchen and things in your kitchen as well. Clutter in the kitchen doesn’t means abundance – and cleaning out the fridge once in a while is a good idea. Keep your refrigerators in good order and change your refrigerator filters whenever necessary to keep the abundance and no stagnation in your refrigerators. One have to also throw away stuff that isn’t working anymore in the kitchen area – and not leave broken stuff lying around. Create abundance by making sure that your appliances are in good working order.

Fall is already here and Christmas is going to be round the corner soon. This morning – we saw some customers buying stuff for Christmas already. Do you have your Christmas gifts for 2010 list written up yet? if not I think it’s about time you do, afterall, time flies – and they literally do. Talking of it – it reminds me about preparing my own list too – i like to procrastinate – but now that I can order stuff online since 2 years ago – I don’t worry no more. One can never go wrong with some chocolates or flowers – who can resist something like the below right? How about some fudge instead? yums! you can’t go wrong with that – everyone loves a rich chocolate fudge during the Christmas season. Ok – time to look thru’ the online catalog and start my orders.

A friend had asked me about getting a personal crystal for her child and asked me exactly how can it do good for her kids. Personal crystals are powerful study luck energizers. If you are getting one for your child – let them pick their own crystal, it should feel good to them as it has to resonate with their personal energy – then cleanse the crystal in rock salt water for 7 days and 7 nights. Let your child hold the crystal in the left hand while studying or revising, and in the exam, tell them to carry the crystal in their pocket. Teach them to charge up their crystal in pure sunlight on days that are bright and sunny. The crystal can also be re-energized with flowing spring water in a waterfall… so if there is a natural waterfall near you, or next time you go hiking or on holiday where you meet up with a waterfall, hold the crystal under the flowing water for a while to charge it up.
Everyone asked me if there is a way to feng shui their office gadgets – because they either want it not to break down – or to bring them good luck. Like a sales person with their iphone – they want their phone to keep ringing with customers. And for the office workers – they don’t want their office equipment to break down. I say to get iphone 4 insurance and office equipment insurance – that would ensure that your office gadgets or any of your electronic gadgets to be protected. Feng shui is not magic folks! practical stuff needs practical solution and what better way than to get insurance for them or an extended warranty.

We all love our kids – therefore we want what is best for them – and if you have kids like mine – who spends lots of time in their bedroom after school – the more so you want to make sure that everything harmonizes – so that they will be happy in there and be healthy.
Feng shui indicates some specific guidelines regarding children’s spaces and bedrooms. The way we decorate them and the way we distribute the furniture – should be done by following those principles in order to achieve harmony and help your children feel comfortable in that space. More on the colors in a later post.

Many had asked me how one uses the Bagua – truth be told – the Bagua is not easy to learn eh ? i looked at the Bagua each time – and i get a headache just by looking at the so many things on it. But then someone explained it easily for me – so i hope this helps you too.
The ba gua (ba: eight; gua: area) is a map of the energetic qualities of your space. It is traditionally shown as an octagon with eight sections surrounding a central area, the tai chi. For practical use, we extend the corners of the ba gua to form a square, then divide it into nine equal sections.
The ba gua divides any space into these nine areas. Each area corresponds to a different aspect of your life (see diagram). Whatever is going on energetically-good or bad-in that part of your space will affect the related aspect of your life.
Every space has a ba gua. There is a ba gua for your plot of land, a ba gua for your house or apartment, and a ba gua for each room within your home. You can even apply the ba gua to your desk, bed, or stove.
To apply the ba gua to your home, align the bottom edge with the wall your front door is in. Even if you usually enter your home through the garage or a back or side door, always align the ba gua to the front door. Now, stretch (or shrink) the ba gua to cover your entire space. To apply the ba gua to an individual room, do the same thing: align the ba gua with the doorway wall, and adjust the size to fit the space. As you stand in the doorway facing into the space, kun gua (relationships) is always to the far right. If there is more than one way to enter a space, orient the ba gua to the most prominent entryway. If the entries are equal, choose the one that is more frequently used.
The ba gua for each floor above or below the main floor is aligned to where you enter that level from the top (for higher floors) or bottom (for lower floors) of the stairs. Sometimes there will be a wall directly in front of you at the top or bottom of the stairs, and you will need to turn to the right or left before you are facing into the space.
