So my retired uncle and aunt wants to go for a road trip to Boston in their motor home and as adventurous as they are - my cousins weren’t so sure as they were. So besides making sure they know where to get help and motorhome repair while traveling on their vacation - they also asked me how they can feng shui the motor home for their parents to keep them safe.
I was a little tickled because my uncle and his wife isn’t that old and he’s a retired judge and I’m sure he is pretty gung - ho in handling some trouble on the road but just to keep the cousins happy - I told them a few things they can use - like cleaning up the motor home with sea salt before the trip and airing the motor home to let in the good Qi - I also told them to buy a nice crystal to be hung in the motor home - to keep their parents alert on the road. So if your parents are like my aunt and uncle going on a road trip - the most important thing is to have the RV aka motor home looked at thoroughly and then making sure they have a good motor home repair to call up is the best.
While many people talked about the beauty that is inside that is most important - I tell you that it’s the outside that people see first and then the within. So when my girlfriend’s daughter asked me why her best friends are having boyfriends and boys swarming around them - and not her - when she is the one that is the one with a good heart and a good listening ear. I looked at my friend’s daughter and told her that the truth is with or without feng shui she needs to have the kind of confident to attract other people and to do so - she first have to take care of herself - www.dietpillsthatactuallywork.net was what i told her first to look up - and loose some weight - because inside that plump body - is a very beautiful angel and after loosing that weight - we can talk about feng shui. I tell everyone feng shui is not magic - once she looses that weight - she will be so confident - she won’t need anything I’m sure. So folks - you want to look beautiful for the people around you with feng shui - try looking deep inside yourself - because you know exactly what you need to do.

Someone told me the other day or rather exclaimed to mock me? But you practice feng shui right? how can anything go wrong for you? surely you can prevent what will happen next and then counter prevent it - even if you didn’t realized it before. Too funny! Feng Shui is no magic - nor a witch craft - and even though I practice feng shui - that doesn’t mean that all problems disappears. Many people are afraid to face the outcome of a problem - and don’t want to look for solutions. Feng Shui talks about fixing the problem - if there is one - or taking a broader look at the problem. So if you have a problem - face it head long and then it will no longer be a problem. For example, town folks from here always say they can’t find a job - there is no job in this town. Which is not true - if i am in dire need of money to feed my kids - i will even wash the toilet if I had to at Mickey Dees and if there are no jobs in this town - then it’s time to head somewhere - where there are plenty. Problem solved. Are you willing to work hard - now that’s another matter altogether.

Meet Muk ! the new car of my best friend’s son - she wants to know how she can feng shui the car - so that it would be safe for her son - he is only 19. First I told my best friend to make sure she gets the brake pads for the car and then make sure that a mechanic checked the car and certify that it is a safe car - and then come back to me. Many people don’t even think of getting their car checked after buying a used car - trusting the previous owner for what it is worth. I for one check just about everything if I bought a used car - from brake pads to its fluid - and even the shock suspension. So yes, safety first with feng shui - have your car checked out first.
We have all heard a lot about space clearing and how it helps with our life and environment and even our emotional well being. But how does one do their own space clearing without the help of a feng shui practitioner. Good question indeed - because I too ask myself the same thing for a long time.
Well, below is what I’ve learned.
You need to be aware, that if you live with a partner who owns or rents the space with you, you need to make sure he or she needs to give their permission to the Space Clearing (this does not imply they need to be present during the ceremony)
It is helpful, if you clear as much clutter as you can. You will need to spend the time of the Space Clearing with meaning: no visitors, small children should be at a sitters (so you can focus totally on the ceremony), phones, computers, answering machines need to be turned off.
The space needs to be occupied after the ceremony - meaning you should not go away for the weekend just after the ceremony etc. - you do want to bask in the new, clean energy and consciously feel the new path set in motion.

Lucky money - you know us chinese - we have lucky money for all occasion and all season - so we get a lot of “ang pow” money after some time. So my kid asked me - is it unlucky to use the “lucky” money? from what i understand - one can definitely spend the money in the red packets aka ang pow. They are money given to one to symbolize cash coming into one’s life. And if you don’t use it - it is just paper. However, if you receive a red packet from a very rich man, like a big tycoon, and you do not need to spend the money, it is a good idea to keep that particular note in your wallet the whole year through, as it encompasses wealth chi from the tycoon. If you do get money like that, don’t bank it into your bank account. Keep the actual note, as a good luck talisman in your wallet, or to go in your wealth vase. As for the packets, it is all right to throw them away after removing the money inside.

I was on Lilian Too’s website and was pleased to learn that you can subscribe to her monthly magazine online. My aunt from Toronto is a huge fan of Lilian Too’s Feng Shui World - and she can now check into the latest issue with any ordinateurs portables that she has with her when she is traveling. This is definitely a lot easier than waiting for the magazine to come in the mail - or worry that it may get lost in it. Yes - so if you are those who have a computer and not in Asia - there is a digital copy of Feng Shui World available now - and subscribing is easy and only cost US $38. Love the netbooks - where you can carry them around for traveling and not miss out on your favorite magazines.

Everyone loves receiving and giving gifts especially in the beginning of the new year - and with Chinese New Year just round the corner - we are also looking for gifts to give our business associates, family and friends - and not forgetting our co-workers.
If you think that giving with good thoughts behind a gift is all that matters than you are wrong - hahah! there are things that we believe are inauspicious gifts and gives that are auspicious and no matter how good your intentions are - these inauspicious gifts might just bring bad news to the person you are giving them to. So be careful what you give as a gift - if you want to keep your friends and family close.
Someone asked me how they can improve their small room for better feng shui? You see they used their room as a bedroom as well as an office in the daytime. So it feels kinda cluttered and cramped - and at times - they feel a lot of stress - thus making it hard on the couple.
So my advice to them - is to de-clutter first of all - do not have your computer or any office equipment such as the computer or Velo Bind facing the bed - when you are sleeping. Open the windows during the day time to allow the good “chi” to come into the bedroom. Once the energy starts to move you will feel a great difference and don’t forget to keep your room clean and tidy. And if you really want a real change - give your room another coat of new painting.

According to the Tung Shu, the Chinese Almanac, there are seven mountains on the inner palm of the hand which reveal the inner attributes and determination levels of each person. The contours of these mountains tell us much about a person’s character and personality and they are named after the seven planets that correspond to the planets of the Great Bear. Whether the mountains bring luck or not depends on how “fleshy” and prominent they are on the palm. When they are full and obvious to the eye, they always indicate good fortune. When all seven mountains are full and prominent, this indicates a fleshy hand which is always indicative of a good and long life.
