Feng Shui CrazyMaking My World A Better One

So I heard that personal grooming can shape your feng shui success luck!  what do I know about it?  actually not much when it comes to this topic.   But we all know that personal grooming is a big thing when you work for anyone.  I remember we had an employee many years ago – who would dressed up like she was wearing a PJs to work – and no make up and no coming of her hair. She was even younger than I – but if I could tell her the truth – I would have asked her to get some best wrinkle cream to aid with grooming for her success – because she wouldn’t change her dressing nor try to be presentable – we had no choice but to let her go.   But with feng shui – I heard that it has to do with one’s personal element and it has to do with your birth chat and then using the Kua number to identify those element and make it work with the four pillars elements.

According to Lilian Too – although the year of Rabbit started on a good foot – the later part of the year – we are missing some elements – therefore I will be carry water with me at all times – and also have water around the house and store always.  But I am not going to overdo it – or I might just drown myself.   I am also getting myself a Heaven Luck Activator to help me succeed in my undertaking this year.

Sometime in July 2010, Feng Shui master Joey Yap – saw that Steve Job although has many good qualities in business and finance – he also has a  narrow chin also indicate health issues.  And although his ear lobes says that he will have a long life – he will have to battle with his health issues.  And guess what ? yesterday – it was announced on the news that Steve Job will be taking a leave of absence due to hormone imbalance.  So the prediction from Joey Yap came true???!!!??  wow!!  unbelievable accurate if you asked me.   So tell me if you don’t believe in feng shui.   This was what I wrote – from what i read on Joey Yap’s blog – http://www.fengshuicrazy.net/2010/07/feng-shui-of-the-two-titans-part-2/ – i think I better get my face read too eh.

A few months ago – I told my beautician that there might be some poison arrows directly facing her store – but of course – a few weeks ago – she reminded me about it and told me that feng shui apparently isn’t working bad with her because business had really been good for her and not affecting her store – a matter-of-factly.  Of course, I am happy for her and I also didn’t remind her that the previous occupant of the current place that she is in – also started out pretty good and in the end had to go bankrupt.

Feng Shui is not just a belief. We do not need to have faith for Feng Shui to work. If we live in an environment with bad Feng Shui, sooner or later it will affect us somehow. We may not be aware that it is Feng Shui at work: we may just feel uncomfortable, or unsettled for some reason but can’t put words to it. Feng Shui has a paradigm and a terminology to describe this unbalanced state of being. The theoretical framework for Feng Shui is based on Chinese metaphysics whose origin comes from the observations of nature and the interaction of the yin and yang forces in our environment. There is a great deal of know-how that has been collected through the 2,000 – 3,000 years of evolution of Feng Shui practice.

So a year down the road – we will revisit my beautician and see how she is making out eh?

Who doesn’t want mentors in their life right?  but what if you are not chinese nor religious? if you’re not particularly religious, symbols that strongly suggest powerful and successful leaders of your own cultural and historical background may be used. All the great traditions of the world have their own folk heroes and legendary figures. Choose figures whose achievements or positions signify the kind of luck you desire.

For example, if you’re an American, you may wish to display a painting of a past American president whose qualities you admire. If you’re French, you can display a bust of Napoleon. If you’re a budding actor or singer, you may want to get a poster of a successful actor or singer whom you idolize and wish to emulate. Or, if you’re in a caring profession such as counseling, nursing or care giving and wish to learn the ways of kindness, generosity and patience of the late Mother Theresa, you’d want to get a painting of this icon.

Hanging pictures or placing statues of these mentors in the northwest of your home can be very effective. One final word of advice: the statues or figurines can be made of metal, ceramic, crystal or clay, but avoid placing statues carved out of wood in the northwest corner, as the northwest’s element is metal and in the destructive cycle, metal destroys wood. This is counter-productive, and instead of energizing, it may instead suppress, or worse, destroy the mentor luck you’re trying to cultivate!

Everyone wants to attract more customers into their store – we do – so I went about to find out what I can do – to feng shui my store.  It is said that in feng shui, twinkling lights are regarded as excellent enhancing agents for attracting instant good fortune, bringing in more customers and more business. Restaurants and night clubs – any kind of entertainment places – are sure to experience increased business when their premises are decorated this way.

The lights themselves have the power to pull in plenty of new customers, and when they twinkle, they create a pervasive sense of happiness that creates an ambience conducive to generating goodwill. Very good for business indeed!  So if you want more customers into your store – get some twinkling lights now – I am going shopping today.

We have the entrance to our house and then the entrance to various rooms of our home – even an archway to our kitchen. If you are like me and buying a new home – make sure that the rest of the doorway to different rooms to your home is lower than your main door.  Why? because you want to make sure that your wealth stays inside your home.  And what if the other archway or door is higher than your main door?  well this is really easy.  one can always get a fake arch put in to make it look lower.   This was what i learned some 20 yrs ago, when i bought my new home in Asia and the Feng shui practitioner told me about it.  I just happened to remember it today an thought I should share this with you.  Good luck!

So I’ve been asked many times if putting a water fountain at home is a good thing…??  many people are told to have a water fountain at different part of their home – but i have to warn you that it is not true – sometimes the wheel of fortune as it is being called may be more detrimental to your wealth, business and health – than a help to you.

So be very careful where you place the water fountains – even if they are meant to be placed outdoors because the water fountain can cost your wealth to run out of your house instead of coming in.  Plus when yo do have water fountain – you have to keep them clean, i for one made a mistake by not cleaning mine that i had placed in our office.  So don’t make the same mistake as I.
