An old friend called me about about some feng shui for his business because there were some accidents around his office.  So I asked him what kind of accident - and he said - just small ones and he was worried that his office needed some feng shui to ward away bad luck.  I frowned and told him that feng shui isn’t some black magic and from what I’ve heard so far - about accidents in the office - a simple step stool would have suffice to help the secretary who had broken her leg who had climbed on a chair to get some files.  Feng Shui is about common sense - and I could have recommended some voodoo stuff to my friend and his office - but really there wasn’t a need to - but I also told him maybe he wanted to give his office a good cleansing - air the office and get some professional step stools for the office staff and he is all good.

While friends’ children are preparing for the mid year exams - another buddy of mine who is taking an online business degree is also preparing to take his too - so they had called last week to ask about feng shui and preparing for exams and what they can do to make studying more successful.

While some people go to the library for the preparation - i prefer to study at home - therefore, the study room is very important and needs to have a lot of positive energy. If you child is studying for an exam - make sure that the study room is clutter free and clean.  According to feng shui - a messy room produces a lot of “sha” energy.  Also to please note that one’s study chair needs to be in a place where there are no shelves around.  Make sure the chair is comfy and has a high back.   You can also place a picture of water behind the study chair - this helps with creative energy.  And you don’t have to wait till you are having an exams before doing all the above - for people who are doing online studies - you definitely need to be able to concentrate and have a little bit of discipline too.

I went for a housewarming last weekend and at the entrance of the home - there were several  samsung lcd screens with a projection of waterfall on the screen and I was pleasantly impressed at how the home practices feng shui to its max even though they cannot have a waterfall indoor - they used the LCD screens to project the never ending abundance of wealth into the home.  As we all know - in feng shui - water means money and images of waterfall like the above - connects not only with power, well but a universal flow of abundance.   I could definitely use this in my own home too.

There are some franchise opportunities opened recently around town and someone had asked me how they would know if the franchise is going to be a good business opportunity.  Is the location a good place?  Is there anything wrong with it - will taking over the franchise be a good investment.  Yes, lots of questions were asked during lunch today and as much as I would like to tell my friend that it was a good opportunity - there are many factors to consider.

I’ve always wanted to own a franchise - at first it was the Body Shop - but the Body Shop Canada - didn’t want to lease out its franchise - so I didn’t think much about it.  But what’s good about owning a franchise?  it’s already a known business - and people knows that it’s quality we are talking about - and a name they can trust.  And yes, if you are investing in a franchise - the locality is important but more importantly to do your practical work before trying to feng shui something you don’t own yet.  So yes !  you want good business - it is best to know how people will receive the product you are bringing in.  Good luck !

So I heard that personal grooming can shape your feng shui success luck!  what do I know about it?  actually not much when it comes to this topic.   But we all know that personal grooming is a big thing when you work for anyone.  I remember we had an employee many years ago - who would dressed up like she was wearing a PJs to work - and no make up and no coming of her hair. She was even younger than I - but if I could tell her the truth - I would have asked her to get some best wrinkle cream to aid with grooming for her success - because she wouldn’t change her dressing nor try to be presentable - we had no choice but to let her go.   But with feng shui - I heard that it has to do with one’s personal element and it has to do with your birth chat and then using the Kua number to identify those element and make it work with the four pillars elements.

According to Lilian Too - although the year of Rabbit started on a good foot - the later part of the year - we are missing some elements - therefore I will be carry water with me at all times - and also have water around the house and store always.  But I am not going to overdo it - or I might just drown myself.   I am also getting myself a Heaven Luck Activator to help me succeed in my undertaking this year.

Sometime in July 2010, Feng Shui master Joey Yap - saw that Steve Job although has many good qualities in business and finance - he also has a  narrow chin also indicate health issues.  And although his ear lobes says that he will have a long life - he will have to battle with his health issues.  And guess what ? yesterday - it was announced on the news that Steve Job will be taking a leave of absence due to hormone imbalance.  So the prediction from Joey Yap came true???!!!??  wow!!  unbelievable accurate if you asked me.   So tell me if you don’t believe in feng shui.   This was what I wrote - from what i read on Joey Yap’s blog - http://www.fengshuicrazy.net/2010/07/feng-shui-of-the-two-titans-part-2/ - i think I better get my face read too eh.
